From the Desk of the President – IACC
Dear Members of the Indian Association of Cambodia Committee,
Namaste!
As we reflect on our journey, I am filled with immense pride in the vibrant, closely-knit community we have built together. For over two decades, the Indian Association of Cambodia Committee (IACC) has been a pillar of unity, support, and cultural preservation—ensuring that even while far from our homeland, we remain deeply connected to our traditions and values.
Your enthusiastic participation and unwavering support make our celebrations truly special. Each event is a testament to our collective spirit, and I extend my heartfelt gratitude to every one of you for strengthening our shared bond.
We are honored to collaborate with the Indian Embassy in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, whose commitment to preserving and promoting Indian heritage abroad aligns closely with our mission. Their support allows us to bring meaningful events to life, fostering deeper cultural exchange and unity within our community.
This year, we marked two extraordinary milestones:
The grandest Holi celebration ever in Phnom Penh (March 2025), a spectacular festival of colors, joy, and togetherness.
A spiritually uplifting 24-hour Akhand Ram Navmi Path (April 2025), uniting devotees in devotion and reflection.
Looking ahead, we are excited to present a diverse lineup of festivities, including:
– International Yoga Day, in collaboration with the Indian Embassy in Phnom Penh, promoting wellness, mindfulness, and holistic well-being within the Indian and Cambodian communities
– A grand food festival, celebrating India’s rich culinary heritage
– Garba Night, filled with rhythm, tradition, and energy
– Diwali Celebration, spreading light, joy, and unity
– Christmas Festivities, embracing warmth and togetherness
… and many more!
Additionally, IACC remains committed to giving back to the local Cambodian community, supporting charitable initiatives through contributions from the Indian diaspora. These efforts help strengthen our bonds with our host country while reflecting the spirit of goodwill and shared prosperity.
We encourage each of you to get involved—whether by sharing ideas, volunteering, or simply bringing your enthusiasm to our events. Together, we can ensure that *IACC, in collaboration with the Indian Embassy*, continues to be a welcoming and dynamic space for all, fostering a strong sense of belonging across generations.
Thank you for your continuous support and commitment. Let’s work together to celebrate our heritage, strengthen our bonds, and create lasting memories!
Warm regards,
JASPAL SINGH
